never enough is a vendor on here pm them they might be able to do it for even cheaper then on ebay thats where i bought mine from back in the day they ran a group buy on it

my exhaust suggestion would be a midlength combo, (zzp or clear image auto) 1.75 primaries 2.5" dp and the tsudo.. it will preserve scavenging effects while giving a nice sound

i did the 3" dp becaus i knew i was going to go boosted.. i ran the setup NA and it wasn't too bad but I'm sure i could've had a bit better midrange with a 2.5" dp

as far as the LSJ setup.. the header is the same, the dp is a slightly different it looks like only for some years .. i think the lsj dp is 2.75 and then goes down to 2.5. a good after market dp will be best
Image
mods: go fast zzp header and DP, 3" CTI catback, trifecta t00n, who procharges a saturn  252 whp 209 wtrq at 7 psi LAWLZold number.. now at 10-11 psi more to come MUAHHAHA SMP R&D ion prochaged car

Ok folks, so as some of you (all) know my car was in a wreck.

Got off the phone with the auto shop today and shes looking to be in good shape, they have the major parts replaced, suspension in, new wheel/rim and are getting ready to paint everything up before final install (this is about a week faster than anticipated).

With that in mind, I am seriously thinking about what I will be doing to my girl when I get her back. Instead of hi-jacking another thread I figured I would zombify my own thread haha.

So Per previous recommendations I figure I will get the CAI AFTER an exhaust/spring/header-dp change-out.

I may get the springs first, or the exhaust not sure yet depends on what information I get in the next couple o weeks.

I was thinking about Eibach springs, as allot of people I know say the quality is fantastic, but I hardly heard them mentioned here as a prime choice, any particular reason, or people have just used others? If not Eibach I had heard megan and canuck thrown about.

As for the exhaust I am a bit befuddled to be honest. I like the sounds of the borla, magnaflow, and tsudo. My main questions come in at the header/dp and exit size. I see allot of 3"-2.5" stuff but I am not sure what is/isnt appropriate.

Instead of SC, I think I will be aiming for a turbo package down the line. As I understand it, eventually I would want a 3" system, but would it be non beneficial/hurt performance for me to shoot for a 3"header->downpipe now?

Aside from that I cant recall seeing any catback systems that actually were 3" for the exhaust itself, unless I just suck at the searches haha. Would I want/need to look into a 3" exhaust setup and piece-meal it?

I guess I just dont know if I should go with a whole catback system, and get like a ZZP with a downpipe exit of 2.5" and slap on like a:

http://www.magnaflow.com/02product/shop ... ll&id=7520

or

find/have made a 3" setup all the way back?

Would swapping the header/dp for say that ZZP (I was thinking the original and not the shorty) not be good for me at this point, or would it not entirely matter if I did this now?

Thanks again for all the wonderful help, you guys rock :)

I wouldn't bother with doing anything to the car more than a catback if I planned to go turbo. intake, DP, header...You'd replace all that shit when you changed aspirations anyways.

Ok so its not worth it to just get a better header-dp now?

At that rate, hooking in a 2.5" catback to a stock header/dp setup like that magnaflow that they say is for a "2.0l" should be ok, or not so much? I am trying to read up on this stuff but I am just getting lost haha. I guess the problem may come in with potential mounting, so if the mounting is wrong then I would have issues?

Sorry for the newbtacularity.

Do you have access to a welder?
If so get a magnaflow muffler and one of the CTI over the axles pieces from OTTP and use the included piping. Its already 2.5. I have the magnaflow catback and its fucking expensive.

Yeah seriously expensive haha.

I do have access to a welder, a friend of mine who does auto body and exhaust work so that could be an option definitely.

If not I could probably still save money bringing it to one of my trusted shops to do it than buying a whole magnaflow catback.

as an example, I found:

http://www.ottperformance.com/store/pc/ ... 22p233.htm

and

http://www.magnaflow.com/02product/shop ... in&id=8467

would that be sufficient or do I need extra pipeage?

If that falls through I guess I could go with a tsudo, or a like solution with a borla muffler.

That just leaves the springs to get.. hmm

Just do the measurements and buy the muffler and over the axles piece. I paid about that for mine shipped like 3 years ago from Gravana.

Looks like 4wheelonline has 87 BBB complaints logged and a C- rating along with various bad reviews on numerous sites. Yay for the information age! haha

I am looking at other options, or doing a piecemeal setup. The only reason I am considering not, is because it looks like I may be able to get one around 5-550$ with free shipping, and adding up the parts I'd need + shipping to build one its almost a wash, so why not pony up a few more bux to get a clean install right?

-update, I can get one with shipping included for 529$ from performancepeddler

checking their ratings and everything seem to be on the up and up.

shrug, I think its a decent deal.

Here if you dont want to mess with it, then go with this unless you have to have the full magnflow setup.

Yeah see, this is the stuff I don't know. I don't need a magnaflow total system, at least I don't think I do anyway haha.

Thats some pretty great pricing.

Would I want/need a resonator, or if I go turbo down the line anyway I'd most likely need/want to swap the system out for a 3" setup anyway and could just do it then I spose.

Ok so I got the exhaust stuff figured out (a plan at least). Next thing I am thinking about are rims and springs, which I think will come first actually.

So I am leaning towards Eibach or megan for those. As for rims, any particular size recommendation from anyone? I was thinking of just going up to say 17"ers or should I go for 18?

Any input welcome :)

With 17s the tires are cheaper, more abundant, and the wheels are generally lighter and less expensive. I got 18s and EIbachs, with that combo I make better curb clearance than with the 17s the redline came with. I run 225-40-18 with no issues in turning at all. Robinson has Megans and likes them. Eibachs have been track tested and spring rates were documented by Powell raceshop. I never saw anything on megans, but drop wise megans drop you lower. You will replace your dampeners quicker running drop springs on FE1/FE2 setups. I run FE3 (stock redline) and they will run drop springs just fine but with FE5 dampeners, then you will have the extra edge.

I've been running a 215/45/17 Eagle GT for the past year and I love them, nice and grippy.

Tires are specifically two things for daily drivers:
How much money do you want to spend and what conditions are you planning to use them in?
Once you have made that decision recommended brands for me are:
Hankook
Kumho
Falken
Nitto
Dunlop
Yokohoma
